Minh Vu was born in South Vietnam. In 2004 she emigrated to America and now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has two sons, one still living in Vietnam with his lovely wife and two beautiful daughters, and the other is a nurse in North Carolina.

Minh's Story

Minh started painting at an early age in Vietnam, but was forced to give up her passion during the Vietnam War due to scarce resources. After coming to America and watching her sister, Kim, produce wonderful watercolors, her passion for painting was renewed and she sought to further her abilities by taking art courses from experienced local artists.

Because of her deep interest in the flora and fauna of the natural world, her art tends to focus on flowers, plants, and animals, including her most recent emphasis on the painting of the portraits of pets beloved by their owners.
